The story behind this piece is about where I’ve personally found tremendous joy in my life. Starting back in my teens, I discovered that I loved believing that anything was possible and going after my dreams in life. As I’ve gotten older, I can look back now and see how God has been leading me all through my life by planting dreams in my heart to go after. I REALLY come alive when I go after my dreams. It’s how I’m wired. But what really fills my heart with “Joy” is going after them with my best friend and wife, Chrysti!

This piece is of a couple on a road trip to their dream vacation spot, Palm Springs. To me, it’s a picture of my life with my wife, chasing our dreams together. As we chase after one dream and it’s fulfilled, we celebrate! On those dreams that don’t happen, we mourn. And before I know it, God plants the next dream and the journey starts all over again. Whatever the destination or dream has been, joy comes in the journey of doing it together! I hope you can see yourself in this piece and it would inspire and ignite your heart to chase after that seemingly impossible dream with those you love and enjoy a life overflowing with joy!
