I don’t know you about you, but I am totally a creature of habit. I love routine! I thrive in it! I love the feeling of being in control of what’s happening in my life. I’m WAY more at peace and happy when my life is going exactly how I “planned it”. Right?!?! BUT... sometimes my life gets totally chaotic, out-of-control and messy! That’s what this painting is about. Sometimes life is like the shoes in this painting, getting turned around, flipped on their sides with tangled up laces in a swirl of out of control messiness!
But here’s the thing I’ve learned to love about those times, looking back all through my life, they have always lead me to something new and AMAZING! It’s usually SUPER uncomfortable when it’s happening but seems to mark the beginning of a new adventure! I believe, even in the most chaotic of times, God has a purpose and a plan for everyone. A purpose and a plan JUST FOR YOU that will stir your heart and light you up on the inside. And even though we might not be in control, He is! He’s loving us through whatever it is we are going through.
I hope when you look at this painting, even if it’s a crazy time, you can find the beauty in the chaos. I hope you feel God’s love and you’re filled with hope, anticipation and excitement over the AWESOME plans He has for you!
