In my early 40’s I had a period of time that I really struggled with fear.  I had never been a fearful person but for about a year I felt like I was getting beat up and bullied by fear. This painting is about the opposite of fear, it’s about courage!  “Courage is the key that opens doors”.  Now whenever I feel fear trying to stop me from walking into something amazing, I charge forward, open that door, and not let it stop me for the opportunity just on the other side of it.  I hope when you look at this painting of a beautiful MCM door, with all of the amazing possibilities on the other side of it, your heart fills with courage to turn that knob, and walk in to all the wonder on the other side.
